1 9 OCTOBER 2026 GYG reports strong network and comp sales growth in Q1 FY27 Guzman y Gomez Limited (“GYG”, “the Company”) today announced its quarterly results for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026 (“Q1 FY27”). GYG’s network sales increased 18.8% on the prior corresponding period , driven by strong comp sales growth of 7.1% and continued expansion of the restaurant network. During the quarter, t hree new restaurants were opened in Australia. Comp sales growth continued to be underpinned by strong transaction growth, reflecting robust guest demand for clean, fresh food, and GYG’s focus on delivering value, choice and innovation in its menu. Growth was broad across all formats, channels, ownership types and dayparts, with solid momentum in lunch and dinner versus the prior corresponding period. GYG made strong progress on key strategic and operational initiatives during the quarter , including continued innovation in its menu with the launch of the new Crispy Chicken Tenders range and Honey Habanero Ranch sauce. GYG’s new proprietary order management system, which is now fully operational across the Australian network, enabled further simplification and digitisation of operational processes in restaurants. Daypart expansion also continued, with 40 restaurants trading 24/7 by the end of the quarter . In addition, GYG enhanced its GOMEX loyalty rewards program in September , introducing new features and an improved experience for GYG app users to further increase digital engagement with the brand. 2 FY27 guidance GYG reaffirms its guidance issued at the FY26 results in August 2026. It expects to deliver mid -single digit comp sales growth in FY27, with u nderlying EBITDA as a percentage of network sales expected to expand to 6.7-6.9%, from 6.2% in FY26. The Company expects to open 35 new restaurants in Australia 5 during the 2027 financial year , with approximately 12 restaurants expected to open in Q2 FY27. On-market buyback As announced at its FY26 results, the GYG Board has approved an extension of the share buyback program up to a further $100 million. As such, GYG intends to extend its buyback program beyond the current end date of 23 October 2026. The timing and actual number of shares to be purchased under the buyback will depend on market conditions, trading volumes and other factors. The buyback will be conducted in accordance with the ASX Listing Rules, applicable corporate and securities laws, and GYG’s Securities Trading Policy.
